Glenn Most is Professor of Ancient Greek at the Scuola Normale Superiore in Pisa. He is also a member of the Committee on Social Thought and teaches in the Departments of Classics and of Comparative Literature at the University of Chicago. His numerous published works include The Poetics of Murder: Detective Fiction and Literary Theory (1983), The Measures of Praise: Structure and function in Pindar’s Second Pythian and Seventh Nemean Odes (1985), F.A.
